GPS Ribbon Cutting Tips and Guidelines

1. Allow 3 weeks minimum to advertise and market your event through GPS calendars. We will send out an e mail newsletter blast to GPS membership and announce on our FB page.
2. Visit other chapters whenever possible to announce your RC
3. Ask chapter leaders to announce at their meetings (send an e mail to Phyllis Strobel and she will blast out)
4. Ask for RSVP’s to plan refreshments but plan for extra food
5. Solicit door prizes from neighboring businesses or power partners who would benefit from the exposure. Ask if you can put your ads in their businesses as well.
6. Ok to have other vendors, but it is “All about YOU”!!
7. Have FUN! The ribbon cutting committee will provide the ribbon and gear for the cutting and take FB photos.
